First post of the year

Well it has been busy so that is a good excuse. We got into the house and that is a blessing I can not explain. I have been just completely swamped with getting the house organized, fence built and beds put together. I also have been really working hard on the Men's Conference coming up Friday night. Putting together a conference with no experience what so ever is rather hard. The good news is it will reach men for Christ and that is all that matters. We have a great speaker Pastor John Atkinson and some incredible projects to tackle the next day. Pastor John will be really challenging the men to step up and start to lead their families, churches and communities. Then on Saturday we will gather at the church and go off in the city to paint a homeless shelter, repair and clean a Child Advocate center, build a prayer garden, clean a beach and pick up and deliver about 50k worth of furniture to families all over the city. It will be a weekend to remember and one that will change the way men are leading His church. I started a 3 day fast last night that will end Friday right after the conference. My hope is the 3 days are spent really hearing from God and trying to understand how I can possibly be called to lead men. I am a shining example of God equipping the called and not the other way around.
