I would like to see President Elect Obama nominate an Attorney General that will require people 21-30 to retake Driver's Ed. I know it is a pipe dream but still it would be beneficial to the country if we had the people who are most distracted take a review of a course they took once when they were 15.
Okay end of rant. I have two 14 year old boys in my house and since they have their sights set on turning 15 so they can get a driver's license, they need Driver's Ed. I would love to say I am a brilliant father about all things but the reality is I make it up as I go along most of the time. Our rule is you pay for your own DE and we provide the car and insurance. My theory is if you really want your DL you will come up with the money for the class. The really good part is the class costs $330! So that will be a steep hill to climb but I will be so proud of them when they reach it. Of course Jacob has a steeper hill because he lost his retainer and we are making him pay for that at $240 bucks. I know we are really mean parents.

You're mean. Welcome to the club. We are getting out of paying for college cuz big girl couldn't get the first semester paid for. Even though she worked at the horrible deli for thousands of hours.
