My Bride Rocks!

I got a little carried away yesterday and put on my Facebook page that my bride got a promotion. Well it was not public knowledge until today. Sorry but I am just really proud of my wife. She is independently successful and way smarter than me. I can't really explain what the new position is but she now will be in charge of hundreds of millions of dollars and training budget officers around the country. She will be making policy and rules for the way things are done in the area of budgets and procurement. I am so proud of all the things she has accomplished in life as a mom and wife but the standard she sets for our daughter and women every where is beyond compare. One of my mentors was saying the other day that a Godly marriage includes two people who are sustained by Christ and not each other. It is like two scuba divers using one tank versus each having their own tanks. If each of you are sustained by your own tank (Christ) you can go anywhere together. I love that I compliment Renee's life and Christ sustains it. She loves me and needs me but will always stand on her own as the woman I most admire.
